Switch continues to absolutely kill it. Nintendo have also basically owned JP for a while now.

I'm thinking, by next week it will have passed the PS3. Then after that, they have a 13m climb to the 100m+ zone

Yep... it's funny to look back at the doubters when Switch was first announced.

This means that Sony will reach the 10 million barrier on july and could reach 14 million or a bit more in the first year on the market. With Covid and the lack of chips!

Don't really understand the hype for Switch outside of portability. Wii U had a better library imo. Hell, switch gets most of its library from Wii U. Regardless, congrats to Nintendo.

Most games Nintendo published for the Switch aren't Wii U ports.

BrettAwesome34d ago

No. Only the good ones 😂

@Brett

Luigi's Mansion 3, Smash Ultimate, Mario Odyssey, Mario Maker 2, Astral Chain, Xenoblade 2, Animal Crossing New Horizon, Monster Hunter Rise, and Fire Emblem Three Houses aren't Wii U ports :P

The Wii U has a total of 35 exclusive games. The Switch has 90 exclusive games. Even if all of the Wii U’s exclusives end up on the Switch, that mean the Switch still has 55 games that is only playable on it.

So how come the the Wii U is better?

The Wii U had better online features then the Switch, like better E Shop layout, themes, folders, ability to chat with your friends etc. But overall the Switch is a better console with more games to play.
