Several new Metroid Dread gameplays clips have surfaced. Clocking in under one minute, these clips feature gameplay without any commentary so take in all the atmosphere of Metroid Dread.
Surprised by how poor the visuals are. No lighting or shadows really evident and why is there a sheen/glow on everything? looks very flat.
There is lighting and shadows, you can see the shadows on Samus and enemies when they walk into light sources that are being cast from the background lol.
I don’t think that is the reply Fraggle want to hear.
Regardless the visuals look very poor.
Graphically the game reminds me of the Strider (2014) or Matterfall (PS4). Sadly the visuals are under cooked, there are some shadows, and some lighting but overall the game looks pretty muted and low budget. Not ugly but flat and underwhelming nonetheless. This looks rushed. In fact Metroid: Samus Returns looks more pleasing than this. Feels like we might be waiting for Prime 4 a lot more than we thought.
Every Metroid article is full of trolls these days. Lmao Its pathetic.
Whatever game is getting attention, trolls will come around. Just pay no mind to them.
Unless it is first party exclusive third person single player cinematic action adventure story-driven games from a certain company.
^^Uh, no. Those probably get trolled the most. You're doing it now, in fact.
I'm so excited for a side scrolling Metroid game again!
Is it Oct. yet? No? Damn.
Cool videos, but why does the article say the release date is Nov. 9th? They confirmed that the release date is Oct. 8th in the release trailer. It didn't get delayed already, did it? :edit: - I searched around and don't see any sort of news about a delay...
