"Patch 1.23 for Cyberpunk 2077 is live on PC, consoles and Stadia."
More fixes, no new content.
Yeah, when the majority of people are complaining they should fix the game, thats....what........happens?
Why are we acting like they have the whole team of developers working on bug fixes? It's a handful of programmers'/software engineers' work most of the time. The rest of the team can work on additional content or a different product entirely if they want. Also multi-tasking is a requirement in game development.
@username yeah you are right about that, but when most of the programmers are working on fixing the game and they release new content while some of the major bugs still arent fixed its just not smart to release content or there is a good chance the same thing might happen again. I also think they owe it to the players to fix the game first and foremost.
Hopefully, by the time the next-gen version is released, it will be the game we were let to believe it would be.
Where have you been? This game needs massive fixes. The last thing they’re going to do is pull resources and develop new content.
But they are doing that. It'll just take longer to come out since they are fixing it still. Devs are always making something new they even have new games usually in the backround that they work on or assign a small team to start the early production when still making the current one. There's a lot of moving pieces when it comes to development of any kind and u cant stop one part just because another has some issues, it'll just delay it some etc.
That's LITERALLY what people want, is bug fixes
Some of us want game fixes.
They've already said no new content until much later.
Have they given a timeframe for when new content will be released
"Memory and I/O improvement leading to fewer instances of NPCs with identical appearances spawning in the same area, and to improved streaming." Thank you! I will check it out after work.
Next-gen still nowhere to be found and the road map was complete rubbish, essentially.
Next gen release was pushed to next year.
Has it been officially? Last I heard it was still second half of this year. Not surprised at all if it's pushed back to next year though.
Not playing my free copy until the next-gen upgrade.
Yep my steelbook preorder is still just sitting there , staring back at me all shrink wrapped and dusty..
I just want the ability to change my character appearance, also any stability fixes is welcome. Playing the game right now and honestly its a really good game, just poor optimized and released WAY TOO EARLY. Other open world games have the same assets and what not but didn't suffer the same issues, I think it's mostly due to lack of optimization and debugging that is cause for all the infamy. If this game had release a year later with everything fixed it would have easily been a 8/10 or a 9 if they did more variations to missions and side quests
As much as I enjoyed it, I still can't believe they made a cyberpunk themed game in which you can't change your appearance post character creation. Just bizarre.
Thing is, these fixes should not even have been a thing for these hot shot billionaire funded a-holes (CDPR) in the first place. This game had so much development time it’s disgustingly insulting. This is what happens when you get too comfortable and slack on work and promises. If they had this turd polished from the start, there would be new things to look forward to...other than fixes.
This game will never stop being patched. It's like that old broken down car, you just keep fixing it, but you know something will just go wrong again, it never ends until you stop and just get a new one or in this case, abandon this game and start over new 😀
