Microsoft and Playground Games have revealed the minimum PC requirements for Forza Horizon 5.
Wow such low specs.
Well it is supposed to run on the XBO after all.
Oh I forgot it's a Xbox one title. All the cheap dell optiplex pc owners should be able to play this at a decent FPS and that makes me happy
That's what happens when you need to get it running on tablet level CPUs from ~10 years ago.
Those are the same specs as Forza Horizon 4. So either they're legit or a placeholder.
My desktop rtx 3080 and new Asus ROG Zephyrus laptop rtx 3070 won't have any problems. I love the Forza series
3080 gang 💪🏻
Lmao dislikes already? Ok, well now my goals to amass all the salt and tears from everyone who can’t get one. Go ahead, do me a favor and slap that dislike as many times as you can and stay mad lmao
@magiclebronjordon 3090 as well and a Ryzen 9 5950X (that took forever to get from B&H photo).
4000 here 💪💪💪 Who says better ?
It’s not the computer they’re downvoting. It’s definitely you. There are villans in 80s movies that sounds less douchy than you.
1060 6gb checking in
Ha, yea that's what my laptop is stuck with, but at least it'll be good enough for an XBox One experience until I can buy a new desktop later this gen. I'm not a big XB guy, but I did sink a lot of time into FH3 & 4!
Lol my wife’s laptops the same. Good luck with the frames dude
i'll chug along with my modest 2070 super and i7-9700f
This is definitely going to be enough to max this at 1440p at 60fps. I am maxing Forza Horizon 4 with a 2070 super and a 3700x at 1440p, but 120fps. I doubt that FH5 will be more demanding and even if it is, I definitely won't go below 100fps, let alone 60fps.
@zane That resolution and fps is exactly what I'm shooting for. Thanks for the info and reply. I bought my pc last year just before prices skyrocketed wanting to hit 1440p native @60fps for pc. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.
2070 Super was the coolest running cards I Ever owned. 65C at full Turbo mode and that card had A great clock rate 2ghz!
3080 here :D
It looked lovely, but you can tell it's an evolution over Horizon 4. Perhaps the PC version has higher quality settings available. Horizon 4 was a stunning game, it still is. I didn't quite see the leap I expected for this though on a new generation of consoles. I'm starting to suspect that some games are being held back because they are on so many old and slow platforms like Xbox One.
Good thing this has low requirements because it is hard and super expensive to build a PC these days.
Ughhh u peasants with your 3070/3080. 3090 gang 😂😂
Even with a 3070, you're paying 3 times the cost for a 3090, for only about a 40% performance improvement. Great card, but you can literally build a PC around the 3070 for the cost of just the 390 card, and you're not being held back using the 3070 all the same. I'm union, and make a really good paycheck. I'm big on PC gaming, and you'll still never see me spending $1500 on a graphics card. That's ridiculous. If it's worth it to you though, more power to you.
Try not to take this the wrong way, but isn't that what makes you a peasant by his definition? Plus if memory serves neither the 3070 or 3080 have 12GB of memory.
@variant I don't equate being smart with my money to being a "peasant". A 3070 is still a great card, and is reasonably priced. The 3090 is a really powerful card, but doesn't warrant the price difference between the two. I have the money to buy either, but I opted for the card that more justified its price tag, knowing I could upgrade to a new card down the line.
