Lol I thought Microsoft had a decent press conference definitely better than last years event, but still nothing graphically on Sony’s level unfortunately. I mean Halo Infinite and Starfield graphics is not on Horizon Forbidden West level unless I'm blind 😁

Nintendo can win if they show Switch pro, Metroid, new Bayonetta, and BOTW 2

Very disappointed in the xboxbeth show, a real missed opertunity and they showed nothing wow. All it was again was an advert for gamepass. When you put all games on gamepass you devalue your games. People don't play them like they paid hard earned cash for them they just play them like games that cost a pound.

Long ago when I had Plus, I was collecting all these games but noticed I never really played them. I played a decent outrun clone and Bro Force. But ended up buying Bro Force on a Sony flash sale.

But the games I did play? A lot? The ones I bought. I played them more because I spent the money. I think some of these gamers don't understand the devaluing of games by these subscriptions. Turns games into throwaway games.

But anyway, hope Square surprises us with something interesting. Something that's worth buying and not renting.

Who won on the odds that a single-player Marvel game without MTX would be the biggest announcement during the showcase?

I remember back in the PS360 days when publishers would turn up and reveal 10 new projects each year. This year, we got one shiny trailer from UBI for a game still 18 months away from release, one new MS game this year (FH5) and one new unannounced project (the Avalanche game) and then tripe like this SE game.

I honestly don't think Sony have anything else ready to show *right now* either, otherwise they'd have done it.

This may be covid-related but I think gaming has been heading towards this state of poverty for a while. I believe development of AAA titles is now just so expensive and takes so long, most studios are struggling to release two games a gen. A crash will happen if something doesn't change
