Mixed bag there for me. I wouldn't bother with FO76, but I heard good things about SW:JFO, but it fell off my radar. I guess it's back on now!

Same here only it is the XB version of FO. so I will grab the PS one for some easy trophies. Axiom Verge 2 is also another i want to play since i only played the first on WiiU.
I love that they're giving Jedi fallen order. I think I might Replay that game. Still need to play the first axiom game before enjoying the second one. I'm also tentatively thinking about trying out fallout 76.
Fallen Order is great but there's nothing here for me. Oh well December was a win in my books
PS Plus Essential subscribers will be able to download games including Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Axiom Verge 2, and Fallout 76 in January 2023.

JFO is good but old (but also makes sense to include it given the sequel announcement).
F76 is going to go down well given the other on-going thread on F76 right now.
I haven't played Fallen Order yet so this would be good for me so I hope at least that game is true.
Yeah I'm not a SW fan but heard it's a good game and who knows, maybe I become one after playing it.
Yeah it's 10 bucks but I also won't be playing it anytime soon because of backlog so no point in buying right now when I'm not going to be playing it anyway. Will keep it on my wishlist and buy it at whatever price it is at the time I'll actually get around playing it or have it already in my collection if it comes to essential before then.
I don't think being a SW fan matters, it's a great 3D Metroidvania. The SW aspect is just added flavour if you happen to be into it.
It was on sale, might still be for just $13 last week. I nearly gave in. Glad I didn't, this is a great game to get for free now if true.

Its almost like sony has a history of giving out games for ps plus when their sequels are about to release.
I rather play Axim Verge 2, that is more interesting than those other 2 games you mentioned.
Absolutely nothing wrong with playing old games on a next gen console - millions are doing it every day on their PS5.
If it didn’t matter / people didn’t care about it, back compat wouldn’t exist.
Also JFO had a good PS5 update that adds 60fps.
The reason it’s a lackluster PS+ addition is because it’s a game that is old and regularly on sale - the deluxe edition is down to $7.49 on PSN right now.
Same here, personally. I had just got EA Play 1 year before they gave out Mass Effect: Legendary, that, BF2042, and JFO and maybe a couple others are what justified it for me, and of course possibly games in the future. Fallout 76 is already on the Extra list.. isn't it? So this is purely for locking it in for essential. Axiom Verge 2 is the only game that interests me in this case.
I've beaten Fallen Order on XB... I can do it again on PS. Axiom Verge 2 is a nice one to get as I've only played the first on WiiU.

And over on the PC side, we still just sit, humored, watching people pay to play online; generation after generation, and fighting over which table scrap games they throw you to try to justify them forcing you to pay to access elements of your own games.
