Games Asylum: "Appearances can be deceptive. Sumire might look twee at first glance, but it very quickly puts that right."
GameTomo has announced that the story-driven adventure title Sumire is now available on iOS devices. Android users may pre-register the game today via Google Play.
"The Japan-based indie games publisher and game developer GameTomo today announced with great joy and excitement that their spellbinding story-driven adventure "Sumire" is now available for MAC via Steam alongside a free demo." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
CCG writes - "Sumire is a side-scrolling adventure taking place in a rural area within Japan. Sumire herself lives on a rice farm separated from the town. Nearby is the Wisteria Tree, where Sumire’s grandma took her. Sumire will come across many environments such as her small town, the baseball fields, the spooky Tanaka House, and the onsen (hot springs). Each area is beautifully crafted in a mixture of modern anime style and the colors/shading of woodblock print."
I intend to try this one out asap, because I like what I've seen and heard from this game.
