Is the Nintendo Switch Lite Better Than the Nintendo Switch?

While the Nintendo Switch and the Switch Lite look like similar machines, some technical differences help clarify which is best for potential buyers.

Ended up trying a Switch Lite and I really missed the joy-cons and TV output. So my answer would be no. Really looking forward to Switch Pro.

The one thing that it does have going for it is weight, it weighs less than a 3DS XL so if you like playing laying down it's a good option, otherwise the original is better.

I like it a lot better because it has a D-pad.

It blows my mind the Switch doesn't have one.

Smok911429d ago

It does, on select controllers.

It would need basic PSP features for me to consider it.

No. I play it through the TV

Depends how you look at it the regular Switch you can dock and use with a tv besides handheld mode. The joycons get joystick drift you can separate the joycons from the Switch. And send them to Nintendo and still keep your Switch to game on. The Switch Lite is handheld only no option to use with the tv the joycons are integrated with the Switch Lite. Meaning if the joycons get joycon drift you have to send the whole unit in to get fixed by Nintendo and be out a Switch to game on. Me personally I like the Switch that can be cradled and displays a game to the tv that's the better choice out of the two.

RE franchise is my favourite, it’s so awesome. There’s so much variety and many great games. That is why i hope we’ll get at least one more RE with first person perspective. I want that RE7 experienece one more time! The RE9 director is the same one as RE7 so i’m expecting it to be amazing.

About what it goes for on digital store fronts these days as well. It's always seems like it's on sale along with the other RE games.

I loved the similarities between Village and RE4. I guess the main thing that felt similar is they both seem like sprawling “villages” and the action was well balanced. Both incredible games in VR too.
