Sony made the right decision by releasing the God of War sequel on PS4, but conveyed in the wrong way.
Sony has finally removed sales restrictions from four major games on Steam, and all of them are compatible with the Steam Deck.
Some of the best PS5 games are exclusives like God of War Ragnarok and Astro Bot, but there are some indie highlights as well.
The festivities also include new 20th anniversary merch, a fan kit, and more.
No offense Sony… but nobody is playing God of war ragnarok in 2025…
Damn Sony
You keep on remastering recent games and yet choose not to for a franchise that's celebrating it's 20 years?
I'm sure a lot of old and new fans would appreciate being able to play the entire saga using their current gen consoles.
I admit I got a bit swept up in thinking we would get a PS classics drop of the first game on PS plus not a remaster or anything just running under the new ps2 emulator id be.halpy with that or the PSP games that deserve more praise really
PS5 is still the generational leap we come to expect. But instead of the obvious (resolution and graphics) we get much improved audio, performance, control and even more attention to detail that makes up the total package. The PS5 games are going to push the hardware above what the PS4 versions can do. And the PS4 is getting some of of the best outgoing games it will ever have.
This is very simple. We are in a world pandemic. The moment Sony saw that their user base can't move to the PS5 due to all the production problems in this pandemic, was the moment they understood they cannot abandon people on PS4.
For me, what Sony is doing is right thing. We as gamers only care about getting a next Gen game. Sony as a company has to care about all their users in PS4 and PS5.
Looks like they're not into generations anymore. PS5 is just another PS4
