Chrono Trigger and FF VI.

These would print millions.

Square really needs to get on this. Not sure what they are waiting on. That's easy money right there.

Final Fantasy 6 100%. I'd also put Star Ocean 2 in the running. It's surprising we haven't seen an entire FF series boxset.

Nebaku1138d ago

I'd love to see Star Ocean 2 but, I won't hold my breath. The series has fallen in relevance and doesn't have a particularly notable fan-base.

FinalFantasyFanatic1138d ago

Hell, they could do a large portion of their retro catalogue, bring a heap of old FF/DQ games back this way with the odd game here and there that don't fall into one of those two franchises.

Inverno1138d ago

I'd love a Pokemon game in this style. Honestly I hope this starts a trend, and brings back some of those awesome 2D games from the retro ages from the grave. Imagine all the Mother games remade made in this style!

Outlawzz1138d ago

Yea this style is amazing. Idk how it took so long for it to pop up

Shining Force 1-2-3, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Phantasy Star IV, Skies of Arcadia, Dragon Force, Final Fantasy VI, Secret of Evermore. Lufia 2,

Would anyone recommed this game to someone who has 0 patience for lengthy dialogues and slow combat?

VincentCastle35d ago

Combat is quick for a turn based game. But there will be some grinding here abd there. Check some gameplay videos.

VersusDMC35d ago

There's a demo for octopath 2 to see if you're into it.

remixx11635d ago

Its worth it, just dont play them both back to back, you may burn out

VincentVanBro35d ago

The dialog is great but it is long at times. You can skip it though.

SegaSaturn66935d ago

No. These games are overrated. Play romancing saga 2/3 if you want a phenomenal rpg without endless dialogue.

anast35d ago

Unfortunately Romancing SaGa is not on GoG and I'm not sure the Steam port has been fixed. It's cheap though.

Stanlittle35d ago

No. The 2nd one is much much better and you don't need to play the first one at all.

I hope we get a North American PS5 physical, but unfortunately I don't think it's likely

shinoff218335d ago

Do you know if it can be imported I've no issue with imports. Long as it's got English on it. My latest import is the man who erased his name

Walalon35d ago

Octopath traveler is a beautiful journey and game, glad that more people can play it now.
