Square Enix is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Dragon Quest franchise and announced a ton of new games for the popular JRPG series.
MonsterVine: "Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake brings a beloved classic RPG to life in a modernized reimagining."
Pre-ordered the collector’s edition. The Erdrick trilogy was my first experience with RPGs. Unforgettable.
The original game is my 4th favorite rpg ever. It's the game that really made me love rpgs. Will easily play through the remake 3 or 4 times.
The Outerhaven writes: Dragon Quest 3 is getting remade in the HD-2D engine as the Dragon Quest 3: HD-2D Remake. It will release on November 14th, 2024.
TSA writes: "The Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is a shaping up to be a sublime remake and the perfect way to experience an RPG classic."
Doesn't surprise me they're splitting I and II from III but I'll still be picking them up day one.
Dragon Quest XII is my most anticipated game now.
I wish they’d rerelease DQVIII on consoles. They could also try localizing DQX offline
It’s nice to see this series embracing worldwide releases now
It’s funny to see DQXII boasting that the choices the player makes will matter considering how things have always been up this point

I can't wait
That Octopath Traveler style DQ 3 remake looks pretty good. Here is to hoping Square uses that for other franchises (*cough cough* Final Fantasy 6)
