The Nintendo E3 Direct is always a major event, so with that in mind, here are five surprises we hope to see at 2021 E3 presentation.
Can't wait. Hard to believe it's just 20 days away.
Having Metroid Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3 as surprises is a bit weird given that they should be on their way to be released. But given Nintendo's silence surrounding both titles I can see why it would make the list. On my side I really want a new IP or something in the veins of Kid Icarus 3DS. Meaning an old forgotten IP being revitalized.
Never understood Bayonetta. Mario Kart 8 being a Wii U port, Mario Kart 9 is due. Can sort of understand Metroid Prime 4, but not really a fan. Found that last Mario game on the Switch to be a bit boring. I’d settle for Mario Galaxy 3. Can’t ever see a new F-Zero and even Wave Race. When you look at the Wii sales tipping 100+ million, even that wasn’t enough for Nintendo to release Wave Race 4. You go back to the likes on the Super NES and Nintendo 64 and games like Rock ‘n’ Racing, Pilotwings, 1080 Snowboarding, Snowboard Kidz, Stunt Race FX and Blast Corps up there for a sequel. Mario Golf over Mario Tennis, as l think Nintendo sort of ruined it with the Wii U release (not even a championship mode).
All those games you mentioned are long gone. It would take a miracle for Nintendo to resurrect those. Pilotwings is the only one still sort of alive. Nintendo doesn't really do arcade games much anymore.
Metroid Prime 4 gameplay trailer, or any trailer at this point 😀🎮
As always I don't expect anything from nintendo. Everything is a win when you expect nothing lol
I would like a new Metroid game
Netflix! Just kidding.
Hoping for a new Mario kart, bros game and MP dated for 2021. Not long to go now!
I haven't touched my Switch for 6 months 🤷♂️ Hopefully something decent is coming. We don't need more $60 ports of ancient games. We need AAA Nintendo games and new IP.
If you've already played Hades and you don't like 3D World or Bowser's Fury, you could always play Monster Hunter Rise...I have some problems with the Switch but not a single one of them is finding something great to play on the console. The library is awesome. Just look at that metacritic score for Hades or Monster Hunter Rise before you dismiss them, or just listen to other gamers who will tell you these games are incredible. That is assuming you aren't interested any indie games or multiplats that you could buy on other consoles, or basically anything but AAA exclusive content, which is a pretty high bar. If you've played everything up already to this point, like I have, you could look forward to BotW2, a new Metroid Prime, or the new Bayonetta... ...as far as ancient ports for 60 bucks....well there is one game that I think is really worth it. super mario 3d world + bowser's fury. I never played 3d world before, and I had no idea what an awesome game I was missing on so many levels. It is absolutely my new favorite mario game and imo any Nintendo fan who has never played this is truly robbing themselves of the most Nintendo Nintendo game since the SNES. For me, an instant classic and one of the best mario games(if not the best) ever made. So good and completely different feeling than any other Mario game!!! It was the excellent development that really stood out. Whoever made this game was good. Really, really good.
I'm super hyped for all of e3 this year, including Nintendo. I'd love for Samus or Bayonetta to show up!
