Subnautica PS5 Upgrade Offers 60 FPS But With 1080p Resolution Limit

Subnautica has been upgraded for the PS5 with a native version that is 70% smaller than the PS4. While there is 60 FPS support, it lacks 4K resolution.

oh snap i thought the article was tallking about the sequel sub zero. played the first one and its excellent but thanks for the heads up. highly recommend it to anyone here on the fence about this game

Be sure to press L1+L2+X during gameplay and type “vsync” or else there’s constant sreeen tearing. Why the developer didn’t activate vsync by default is beyond me.

Yes. Then it will be a 60fps with no screen tearing.

The upgrade is still welcomed as before this update, it felt like a level took 3-4 minutes to load but now it is well under a minute to generate the level.
