From PSU: Subnautica: Below Zero is a sublimely addictive timesink and an exemplary survival adventure game that transcends the genre. The improvements to the formula of the original game are minimal but impactful. Fans of the franchise will certainly have plenty to get into, and the appeal is broad enough to welcome many more newcomers to the experience. Whilst there is little ground broken in terms of visuals, Subnautica: Below Zero more than compensates with an all-round stellar experience that rivals that of bigger budget productions.
Want a reminder of just how tough living is sometimes? The best PS5 survival games could be what you're after.
I'm surprised The Long Dark wasn't listed. I've heard good things about it. Anyone play it?
Terrible list. Why? They put "Below Zero" on there ABOVE the original. The original Subnautica is LEAGUES better than Below Zero. In-fact, it's one of my favorite games of all time. Below Zero didn't sell well because most of us die-hard fans know it's not as good.
Run around and decide your fate, the world is your oyster. From Microsoft Flight Simulator to Halo Infinite, passing through Forza Horizon 5, the Xbox Game Pass has some tremendous open-world experiences for us to try, let’s check them all out!
BLG writes: "Very few games are capable of invoking pure terror with as much ease as Subnautica. Although the game feels surprisingly peaceful and serene when you first jump in, the atmosphere changes in a heartbeat once you start exploring the depths of planet 4546B’s vast ocean. The reason? Leviathans."
PS VR2 version inbound. All but guaranteed, since they couldn't do the game justice in VR on the base PS4 and Sony policy wouldn't allow them to publish just for PS4 Pro.
This would be a worthwhile draw for PS VR2 and for little effort, since it was already developed for PC VR.
These are the kinds of indie games that interest me!
