Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) today announced that new title Resident Evil Village for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC has shipped over 3 million units worldwide.
great game, really enjoying it!!
Already over 3 mill that Shows People Still love Resident
This game would need to sell 6m in its lifetime to make a profit… so it’s looking good
3 million is already a profit..but it will probably sell 9 million units worldwide in the future.
VR alone will shift at least another million copies next year. This game will have longer legs than most as a result.
Hopefully it will be a PSVR2 launch title
Great news. I like when a good game has good sales support. I have never played a RE game where the protagonist receives so many fatal wounds and just be like nothing. I haven't finish the game but I guess Ethan Winters must be a bio weapon. No way a normal human can survive those wounds.
The split is heavily in favour of playstation
Very good game, just like RE7 you need to ignore the fake reviews that try to bomb the score on launch week.
Loving it on PS4
What an insane thrill ride this game has been so far! Make sure you turn on Ray tracing in the main menu before you start the game! I didn't realize how much of a difference it made until I restarted and made sure it was on. I also recommend not getting frustrated at first as the first couple areas can be frustrating when you don't know what to do and it's hard to see where you're going etc. I had to pump up the brightness a little bit more just to be able to see and make out all the little pathways, etc. So many nice graphical touches it's crazy! Also clearly this is designed for headphones so hope you have a good headset. I wasn't really a big fan of seven I thought it was a little bit, I don't know if it's not for me. This definitely reminds me of re4 but in the first person!
I've beaten every main RE game, the remakes, the Revelations series and CVX. Village is a damn good game.
