WTMG's Aaron Price: "To add to the very basic colour scheme, basically black and white, with some red to indicate blocks you can’t touch, and green to indicate ones you can, the music is just as basic. I understand why fully, this game is not meant to be a pinnacle of graphic design, Active Neurons 3 is instead meant to be a brain tester. A game you sit down and play for ten to fifteen minutes a day minimum and help to build your cognition. If you struggle with problem solving, if you like puzzles, or if you just like to keep your brain active, Active Neurons 3 should be right up your alley. If you’re looking for something in depth and interesting, well, you wouldn’t buy Brain Training for a The Last of Us style of story mode would you?"
Neil writes: "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. That's pretty much the motto of not just Active Neurons as a game, but of the development team behind it as they push out the third game in the series, in pretty short fashion after the first two titles. The question is, does Active Neurons 3 - Wonders of the World provide enough to warrant another puzzling purchase?"
Gareth writes: "If you have loved the previous two games in the Active Neurons series then you can’t put a foot wrong With Active Neurons 3 - Wonders Of The World on Xbox. It may feel a bit like a piece of DLC rather than a new imagining of the series, but that's fine for the cheap price and offer of a host of extra levels."
LAW£ of Xbox Infinity writes: Having not heard about Active Neurons one or two, I head into the third game with an open mind, and while very early impressions were an overcomplicated puzzle game, I found a rich, rewarding experience that has been a joy to play.
