Sony has filed a new patent that will let gamers reach out to "experts" for help in real-time while gaming.
If I get stuck, I use YouTube. Very quick and easy. This would have been great 10 years ago. Now there are walkthroughs usually day one. I doubt the Sony service will be free. YouTube is!
Yep, which makes this a weird experiment at best.
Or it'll be connected to the service they already have on the ps5 that allows you to watch other peoples videos on an area of a game that you need help with. This is just an extension of that program to have someone talk you through it.
Connected through Discord, maybe? 👀👀
Sony files patents to help journalists review its games.
I hate all this Sony patents, even more than xbox :) 95% of all this patents will never release, or no one needs it.
that'll be fun, see if you can piss off an expert, by continually doing the same mistake over and over again... lol
was a patent really needed for this? as some people mentioned above, they use youtube for walkthroughs etc. or you can use discord for the game in question and more often than not there is enough people to help here. whats next, patenting asking for help?
