The weapons Arent blurry anymore

If you played in VR, a massive life sized sludge creature with 9 inch teeth is far more terrifying. My one issue with RE7 was that it did survival horror so well up until the Lucas part where it really shat the bed and turned more into an action horror game. I found everything after Mama was such a slog.

The ship? Yeah, some of that felt tacked on a bit, but it did one thing (highlighted specifically in VR) in that it took all of your weapons off you again, so the tension on the ship was as high as it was at the start of the game, I felt. If RE8 doesn't bother with VR, I'm not bothering with it. It's that simple. 7 still has the upper hand.

The ship part was okay, I was actually thinking more about Lucas' part of the house, up to the final Jack fight and later when you regain control of Ethan and go into the mines. Also the final fight with Evelyn was pretty meh. I'm also going to wait RE8 out to see if there's going to be PSVR2 support in the future.

How vile was mamma's bug vag though, oh mamma! 🤢

There were some good bits in the Lucas part. The escape room part worked well with that creepy statue thing, but yeah, after that it was a bit of an arena battle with molded. The game definitely could have used more enemy types.

RE franchise is my favourite, it’s so awesome. There’s so much variety and many great games. That is why i hope we’ll get at least one more RE with first person perspective. I want that RE7 experienece one more time! The RE9 director is the same one as RE7 so i’m expecting it to be amazing.

About what it goes for on digital store fronts these days as well. It's always seems like it's on sale along with the other RE games.

I loved the similarities between Village and RE4. I guess the main thing that felt similar is they both seem like sprawling “villages” and the action was well balanced. Both incredible games in VR too.

Lol I doubt iPhone contributed much to that figure, the vast majority would have been PS5 and PC.

Yeah, of course the mobile sites are going to make news out of the couple digit in-the-thousands or so downloads as a major contribution. The original story was that Village hit the 10 million mark across all the platforms, nice for mobile fans to take it up a serious notch like it was due on behalf of mobile.
