Publisher clarifies the meaning behind its leaked marketing document.
A whole lot of fuff from this guy with absolutely no substance. The number 1 reason you want people to play Ultimate Team is for the MT's and that elusive gold premium pack. If you just wanted players to play the mode itself, remove the real money purchases.
Can you blame people...it's EA Everytime they are the topic of a news article I automatically think "what they done now?"
"It's not about monetisation, it's about engagement for players." Sure. It's out of the kindness of their hearts.
If it's just about engagement, they have no issues completely removing the cost for MTX and instead making them goal achievable rewards only?
EA we kinda Don't believe ya
It’s about engagement you say? Ohhhh okay. Silly me. So it’s not about greed and you truly care about the players. Bless your hearts /s. I hate how stupid they think we all are. Don’t know why they waste their time saying crap like this.
Lol does anyone actually believe these clowns? EA is awful.
This is just damage control. Like how they and Ubisoft defended shortcut DLC as "giving players options." What they say is true, but that is not the reason they do it. That is just a minor thing they can wave around when ever someone criticizes them.
I mean it’s true.. They wouldn’t sell it if idiots didn’t buy it. If people keep buying random bullshit they are staying engaged lol. It’s absolutely about monetization though, saying otherwise is an insult to intelligence. Just be honest, we sell because dumb people buy.
Do people who don't play fifa ultimate team think the best players are locked behind money or something? Everyone who actually plays it knows you get f'all from buying packs, so hardly anybody pays for them. You get the best players from completing objectives and playing weekend league, basically rewards from playing and not spending money. The microtransactions are not in your face at all in Fifa ultimate team, you won't really see anything about buying packs unless you go to the store section. All you will see is about earning rewards.
