Super Mario Party has received a surprise update today by Nintendo adding in support for the online multiplayer in various gameplay modes.
The Mario Party franchise is one of Nintendo's most successful IPs, but the last two games have put the next title's success in jeopardy.
The last one on the switch was the best one I've played since the gamecube gamed. What's this about
Last one was pretty good, I think the next one should have more maps from the GC era though. The N64 maps are boring.

It's a big step in the right direction and a welcome addition, but why wasn't this in at launch? Also we've been begging for any sort of additional maps for two years now and still no sign of any DLC like that. Things like this are why I stick with the N64/GameCube ones whenever I play with friends via online (emulators)
