The Nintendo Switch was the best-selling console with 455,251 units sold for the week ending April 10, according to VGChartz estimates. The Switch has now sold an estimated 83.38 million units lifetime.
The PlayStation 5 sold an estimated 199,634 units to bring its lifetime sales to 7.30 million units. The Xbox Series X|S sold 98,248 units to bring their lifetime sales to 4.53 million units.

Good week for the switch. At this point we are just seeing Sony and Microsoft sell whatever they can produce in that window, so not really true/comparable numbers yet until supply outstrips demand.
Once all the manufacturing issues are gone, it will be interesting to see how the new consoles really stack up against the Switch.
I bought my PS5 on April 15th so it will be in the next report. I received it just the other day (4/20 yeah!!!). Astro is a blast to play.
At this point I'm waiting for store stock before buying a PS5. Between the scalpers and the people camping the site(s) 24/7 I'll clean out my back log in the mean time.
