IGN writes: "Six months ago, Penny Arcade crossed over from a site that poked fun of videogame culture to one that now helps create games. The first Penny Arcade title was promised as part of a continuing series. The promise is being delivered. Six months is a perfect gap between episodes. What Episode Two offers is more of the same, with a few gameplay improvements. That's good news as the formula for Episode One -- silly story, sillier dialogue, fun combat -- was a winner.
If you've played Episode One, your character can be brought in to Episode Two. Your stats and appearance copy over and the difficulty scales to match your prowess. If you didn't play Episode One, don't worry. You can create a new character and start at a decent experience level. There are only tertiary ties to the first Episode. It's easy enough to catch up, though a few of the jokes will be lost on those who missed Ep. One."
