Yay.... and it did it on its own, no padded sales from bad units. Double the og Xbox and more than half the 360. Not bad for a system marred with bad press and not many first party exclusives / games.

“ Xbox One Sales Top 50 Million”

Hold the front page!.....

generic-user-name1105d ago

Well it's not great, the PS3 was marred with bad press and "PS3 haz no gaemz" narratives, but still somehow managed to overtake the 360 in the end, despite being on sale one year less.

It's tough to spin this into a positive.

I had a Wii U, how do you think I felt?

chiefJohn1171105d ago

Does it matter? Sells make your purchases more enjoyable?

bouzebbal1105d ago

Amazing console, a high value in gaming.. It's an outstanding console

roadkillers1105d ago

It is, just playing along with a joke since the Wii U didn't sell much. Splatoon was Nintendos best new IP since Pikmin on Gamecube

CobraKai1105d ago

I loved the WIIU. A complete turn around from granny’s Wii.

I'd like to see Microsoft announce it as fact and not relying on a site known to not be correct.

Gamer751105d ago

But would you believe them if they did ?

lodossrage1105d ago

I'd believe Microsoft hardware numbers the same way I'd believe Sony or Nintendo

Reason being, those are easier to verify than digital sales.

dumahim1105d ago

If MS lied about their sales numbers, they'd open themselves to legal issues.

Darkborn1105d ago (Edited 1105d ago )

I honestly thought they were a bit past 50 million for about a year or so now but that's crazy. Also this site usually overtracks xbox numbers so they might need another year to actually hit the mark.

Edit* now we know why Phil is pressing game pass so much, they would be crucified without it.

MIDGETonSTILTS171105d ago

Aaaand this is why their expanding their market with the sS and game pass. I know I don’t want it, but I’m also not the target market.

I hope m$’ marketing team gets credit for this pivot. It ain’t grabbing me, but I’m sure it’ll grab some of the Nintendo market as older kids start favoring shooters over Mario

Playstation Country - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants – PS5 Review

Michael Kitchin writes, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants does not breathe easy outside of an arcade setting. The short campaign loses any risk when you're given plentiful lives at the start of each stage. Whilst the new areas are welcome, they don't make the package feel any more complete. In the comforts of home, every imperfection comes into stark realisation. The slim presentation, the decent but ultimately safe combat and the overall small package makes this tough to recommend."
