Dreamland Solitaire: Dragon’s Fury only represents a tiny step forward.
Michael Kitchin writes, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants does not breathe easy outside of an arcade setting. The short campaign loses any risk when you're given plentiful lives at the start of each stage. Whilst the new areas are welcome, they don't make the package feel any more complete. In the comforts of home, every imperfection comes into stark realisation. The slim presentation, the decent but ultimately safe combat and the overall small package makes this tough to recommend."
Yay.... and it did it on its own, no padded sales from bad units. Double the og Xbox and more than half the 360. Not bad for a system marred with bad press and not many first party exclusives / games.
It just now hit 50 million? To think, that was my main platform last gen 😅
I'd like to see Microsoft announce it as fact and not relying on a site known to not be correct.
I honestly thought they were a bit past 50 million for about a year or so now but that's crazy. Also this site usually overtracks xbox numbers so they might need another year to actually hit the mark.
Edit* now we know why Phil is pressing game pass so much, they would be crucified without it.
Aaaand this is why their expanding their market with the sS and game pass. I know I don’t want it, but I’m also not the target market.
I hope m$’ marketing team gets credit for this pivot. It ain’t grabbing me, but I’m sure it’ll grab some of the Nintendo market as older kids start favoring shooters over Mario
