Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi has returned with a great new RPG that feels both lovingly familiar and refreshingly new.
Shame it's likely going to be stuck on Apple.
I like the final fantasy series and would love to play a game in the same vein but I just won't waste my money on an overpriced apple product.
That's fine. COntinue to stick with your super-cheap but sells all your informatino Google App ;)
As if Apple wasn't doing exactly the same thing.
@DarkZane, your point is moot. Both companies collect data, but Google is the one that sells your data to 3rd parties. Apple doesn't. Collecting and using your data are two different things. Fact for you, Google pays Apple up to $12 billion to remain the default search engine on iOS and Safari. That’s because Google collects information about you through Google search, happening on your Apple devices. Which is about to change with iOS14.5 where Apple will introduce restricted targeted ads with stricter data collection from 3rd parties. This is what has got Facebook all upset.
All of them already know some deep details about you, most likely, unless you're taking extreme measures to hide it.
Kinda like Nintendo, really.
Nintendo doesn't make a $1000 phone/console. Their most expensive console right now is $300.
Yeah, the Switch, it launched at $299.99 when the PS4 Slim was the same price. They don't have competitive pricing at all. If Wii U was $150-200, it would have fared so much better, but it really lacked the innovation that the Wii had, and now Switch. And, they do not do price cuts well. But, I would say Apple has much better product quality and design. Also you can walk into an Apple Store with a broken iPhone XS and walk out with a brand new one that same day. Nintendo would probably laugh you out.
I think Apple Arcade now is good enough that it warrants owning an Apple device. Buy one secondhand is a good option if you don't want to spend too much.
if only they released it somewhere that most of us cared to play it on
Finally the final fantasy game for apple devices! I am so excited I sold my galaxy note plus and bought an iphone because this is just a must play. Wait, no I didn't. That would be idiotic.
I don’t mind buying a traditional game on my iPhone. What I don’t want is to subscribe.
Everybody complaining about the apple arcade exclusivity, I agree with you it sucks. But some things to keep in mind: -It will hopefully one day come to switch and other platforms like other games from apple arcade -$5 subscription (with a one-month free trial that I am currently using personally) really isn't that bad, you can cancel whenever you want and if you ever want to come back to it it keeps your save data -It's nice that mobile/iPad users like myself (recently had to move on short-notice and couldn't bring my PC/consoles) have something real and worth playing
Shame its mobile and apple exclusive. Ah well. Barely anyone will play it.
FOMO got ya port betting, but if this came out on Switch or PS5 tomorrow, how many would give it a second look? I mean, we can't even get a lot of yall to respect Hades, is this really gonna be the one to turn it all around? I'm a Switch fan, and I don't always port beg...but when I do, it's gonna be for P4G.
it looks amazing but i aint gonna buy apple products to play it.
I'd get it but I don't want to sign up for Apple Arcade. This really needed to come to consoles. I don't know anyone who uses Apple Arcade and it sucks that this could be considered a failure due to being on a platform that I'm pretty sure not a lot of hardcore gamers have signed up for.
