To mark the first anniversary of the launch of Final Fantasy VII Remake, check out the FF Portal website for a special message from producer Yoshinori Kitase.
I remember the last time they told us to "please be excited'. Oh how we laughed. Oh how right they were to hint at this very games excitement by us fans.
Part 2 will be out in 4 years and part 3 will be 4 years after that.
Part 2 will probably come out late next year or early 2023. Just a guess. I'm no rocket scientist.
There may only be one part left. It might not even be in parts. Spoilers but the word remake doesn’t mean what you think it means
@Senor "it might not even be in parts" umm what? It's in several parts, more than 2, and that can be confirmed simply by reading the companies own words regarding the matter
@ManMarmalade You think they will release two huge Final Fantasy games the same year? (Referring to FFXVI). I mean...I suppose it's possible that XVI could drop late this year but that seems like a bit of a stretch.
@vile Considering part 2 of the remake was in development during the first part, it's not completely out of the question. Maybe a half year difference between releases. It's also possible that the game could be delayed for X reasons at any given time. I remember waiting for FFXV when it was still called versus XIII and I saw the premiere trailer and everything.
@venomcarnage89 what senor is saying is the remake kind of went in a different direction than the original. It is possible and probably that they finished the remake content with that first game and whatever comes out from now on are basically just sequels to their new plot line. So really they cease being parts of a remake and new games altogether.
No new info here.
whole year still not even a whisper about part 2
Maybe we'll get an unlockable teaser trailer with Intergrade.
Yuffie be like "I need to leave the village with master pervert and train for 3 years!" and the game will tell you "see ya in 3 years on FF7 Shippuden"
Why would there be? Its a AAA game that's had a mere year of development under a pandemic.
One of the best games I played last year. Can't wait to play Intergrade. I see the complains have move from "this is a trash episodic game" to "no words on part 2" #Always a complaint for something.
lol, I remember people were super pissed that they released the game on 3rd of April in Europe for example and everyone that bought it online was forced to wait until the 10th. Talk about twisting the story xD
It's going to be a $200 game or more, of course there is a special message.
actually i bought it for 90 i believe, for the special edition maybe you bought it from a bad source
