Would love to see MS jump in on haptic feedback so the number of supported games doesn't plateau. Haptic feedback on my PC version of Elder Scrolls 6 (not modded in)is high up on my wishlist.

philm871551d ago

Started playing Black Ops Cold War on Friday. Really impressed with the feedback implementation in that, they clearly worked hard on it. Along with the 3D sound it makes the campaign incredibly immersive. I'd played other shooters that use the feedback, but nowhere near as good as Cold War. Hopefully the use of the feedback will improve across the board as this gen goes on.

Aussiesummer1551d ago

What I have experienced so far is meh, I am curious to see just how good your reports of cold wars implementation is. Maybe I'll hire it from eb games.

philm871551d ago

What have you tried it on so far?

Aussiesummer1549d ago

Astros play room, demons souls, WD legion, destruction allstars.

demonseye1551d ago

I think haptic feedback is a great new addition to single-player games. it adds to the emersion and I even enjoyed cold war single player more because of this. which really was not that great in general. I'm not saying it's a must-have in games. but it surprisingly adds more to the game than I first thought it would.

jukins1551d ago

Its not one of those things that wow you after first use. But if you immerse yourself in games whats been done so has definetly been clever and only adds to the game.

AKS1551d ago

I've had a PS5 for around a couple of weeks, and the most impressive experiences with haptic feedback that I've had so far are with Astro Bot and WRC9 (on a killer sale for $17.50 at the moment). I actually have COD: Cold War that came with the bundle I bought to finally get a PS5, but it is still wrapped in plastic unopened. I'll give it a try eventually. I don't play much COD outside of Warzone on PC.

Truly amazing!

Draws inspiration clearly draws gameplay inspiration from Assassins Creed and action cinematics from Uncharted!

Powered by UE5!

Definitely on my radar!

raWfodog5h ago

Eastern devs are putting in that work this gen. The quality of their games have been top-notch across the board. Looking forward to seeing more of this game in action.

Other devs need to take notes and step their game up, figuratively and literally.

Lightning7715h ago

Looks very good why wasn't this at SGF?

Obscure_Observer12h ago

Probably because this trailer wasn´t ready yet.

I doubt the developers would miss the opportunity to reveal their games to millions of gamers on four major events like Summer Game Fest, Future Games Show, State of Play or Xbox Showcase on purpose.

Napoca867h ago(Edited 7h ago)

This feels like 90% stolen from Uncharted and the guy is also falling or almost falling to often down. Nah this is to much show, something is strange here.

Sonyslave36h ago

It does look like it could be staged or the combat might be like hellblade, but i have hope the devs made naraka battle royal game.

Lightning772h ago

Ryse had staged area like combat. So did Hell Blade. Linear story based games do this. It's very cinematic like gameplay. The game did remind me of Ryse, how Ryse would of looked if they had a sequel of sorts.

pwnmaster30004h ago

This reminds me a bit of uncharted, ghost, Gow and AC.

Count me in.

The director of the original Silent Hill: “I look forward to seeing bold interpretations.”

Keiichiro Toyama—the creator and original director of the 1999 Silent Hill—shared his personal thoughts on the recently announced remake by Konami, reflecting on what the project means to him after more than two decades:
“I felt something similar when the game was adapted into a movie. It deeply moved me to see the names of the characters and locations I had created come to life visually, even though I wasn’t directly involved. That wouldn’t have been possible without the continued support of the fans and the dedication of the developers who’ve kept the series alive.
I’m really looking forward to seeing how the remake evolves this time. With the advanced technology we now have, I’m sure I’ll be surprised by how the game is reimagined. Since the original was built for the first PlayStation, there will naturally be challenges—like the camera and controls—but I’m eager to see bold and creative solutions to those elements.”

Haha Not only is bold and creatively not what the industry wants, it’s not what most people want.

They want to get scammed and pay twice for a thing they already own.

Nightcrawler8913h ago

Hope they use his vision in the game

Inverno13h ago

Was the SH2 remake even bold? Or was it more or less just a 1 to 1 over the shoulder remake?

Pedrof13h ago

I wouldn't hold my breath on "bold".

Where to watch Capcom Spotlight, when it kicks off in your region, and what to expect

Capcom Spotlight is just around the corner: tune in to see the latest titles being shown off by the Japanese masters.

SockeyBoy13h ago

I feel a new DMC on the horizon.

thorstein10h ago(Edited 10h ago)

New IP, please. Used to be (in the 80s) if it was a Capcom game, you knew it was good.

jznrpg9h ago

Pragmata is a new IP so there’s that. Another one would be nice though

Babadook78h ago(Edited 8h ago)

Honestly Capcom is still somewhat of a seal of quality for me.

shinXseijuro8h ago

Trust me I’m a Capcom baby. Got fond memories of Megaman and all the good library they had on snes 😂 . I always felt bummed Capcom shunned Megaman tho ever since inafune left the company . Pragmata seems like it’s a new Megaman sort of
