Resident Evil Village File Size Revealed On Microsoft Store

Microsoft Store has revealed the file size for Resident Evil Village and it is almost twice the original file size of Resident Evil VII for PS4 and Xbox One.

FP perspective is a great turn for the series and really immerses you into the world of RE. As much as I liked fix camera angles and the 3rd person views, the atmosphere for the new series is a perfect match with the FP view. Also, VR

Putting it in 1st person to accommodate VR is a terrible business decision if you ask me. I don't care about VR in the slightest and much prefer 3rd person gameplay (in Resident Evil anyway).

We literally had 2 3rd person RE titles back to back, I think it's fine for RE8 to be in first person

completely agree, while I liked 7 more then I thought I would...but the first person perspective is not how I want the series to remain. IDGAF about "VR" as its just an expensive gimmick, and we have enough games using the FP viewpoint, especially for horror. It does not add to the fear factor for me, as I found REmake 2 to give me more tension then 7 did, also some people don't find any game to be scary so why push that as the reason for it. I'm excited for 8 but hope they stick to classic roots for gameplay design (like 7 went back to) but return to 3rd person for the mainline entries. Either way I believe RE9 will be another big change, the Devs said 8 is the end of Ethan and the story that surrounds him

How is VR a gimmick? Half life alyx and alien isolation have already proved that VR is a great new way to immerse yourself into a game.

Not at launch. You can generally safely assume that third party AAA titles won't release day one on gamepass. Also I think Sony has a marketing deal for this game.
