Don’t Expect Adaptive Triggers or Haptic Feedback on PS5 in It Takes Two

Upcoming action-adventure cooperative video game It Takes Two will be available in new-gen consoles, but do not expect it to have features unique to them. Lebanese-Swedish Game Designer and Founder of Hazelight Studios Josef Fares shares these facts with Sirus Gaming in an interview.

Doesn't matter for me
I have that function turned off for all games anyway
It's more annoying than anything

It's the first real innovation to come to traditional controllers in a long time.
Nothing wrong with you not liking it, but that really does put you in the minority.

Once more people get enough time using them as I have they will know why I have turned that function off

I love it tbh. The only thing I don't like it for is guns but that's a personal opinion. Messes with my head a bit having different pressure points for different weapons and then having the trigger bounce while the gun fires. It's incredibly cool but yeah I turn it off for guns.

Racing games, "grabbing" things like in sackboy adventure, and anything simulating weight is suuuuuper cool. I just bought NFS for ps4 and im playing it and it feels weird to *not* have the adaptive triggers :(

I do see where you're coming from but don't be too quick to dismiss the entire feature lol it does add to a lot of games

I think it's fantastic. For me it really adds an extra layer of immersion to games when it's implemented properly.

Having said that, few games truly make proper use of it. So far only Sackboy, Astro's Playroom and Destruction Allstars have really wowed me in this respect.

No problem if you don't like it though, each to their own. 👍

Every game this dood directs embarrasses EA. I'm amazed that EA has actually published all this doods games so far when they go against their beliefs. Hazelight one of the few studios proving this AAA game obsessed industry wrong.

This game is in my wish list. I may pick it up later this year because my current backlog is huge.

Hazelight is the best studio currently making games. Their first three games have all been phenomenal.

I wish A Way Out, It Takes Two & Split Fiction could be played with an AI partner. I could play Josef Fares's first game Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons by myself, but not any of his other 3 games.
