I’m slowly getting hyped about this game. Ive always had an interest but it was a “wait until it’s cheaper” game for me. I might get it day one but April is a killer month, not a good launch window competition wise. A March release I would have been sold today.

Yeah I really wish they had stuck to March. I assume the delay was necessary for polish, but I do think that would have been better timing.

Not that I don't think it's going to be good (I'll certainly be buying it, as it's really the only thing on my radar before Deathloop), but I do think this will end up on PS Plus by December.

I was already sold on it and one of my Christmas gifts was the money to preorder it digitally. So the launch window doesn't matter to me, I'll be playing it on day one. Thank you gifted game! 🥳

The game looks good but many of us don't own a PS5 yet. Not making enough PS5s is hurting this generation as people are stuck on the old generation and cannot move from there.

It will take a long time for the the masses to move to the new generation PS5. Meanwhile, developers cannot fully embrace next Gen as they must not forget about all people stuck in last Gen.

The people stuck in last gen sure didn't seem very enthusiastic about the PS4 version of Hitman 3. Honestly if this game wasn't a true PS5 exclusive, it would be getting less attention than it already is. The fact that it isn't cross-gen when so many games are is going to get people interested who would definitely skip it otherwise.

True and sadly there is no end in sight. I thought by summer we would have enough next generation consoles on shelves now I doubt it

No different than any other console launch. There are always shortages for a year to a year and a half after launch. People have short memories. PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox series, Switch, Wii, Dreamcast, SNES, Genesis... They all had shortages. They all did well. It sucks if you can't get one and want one. Hate the scalpers. They're the ones ripping people off and making it hard to get the stock that does come out

I had a way harder time getting a PS3 than I did a PS4 or PS5. That being said, it does seem like the PS5 supply really dried up from about Christmas until a few weeks ago. Fortunately Sony is doing Directs pretty regularly again, so the people paying attention should have plenty of chances.

I heard rogue-lite and instantly fell asleep.
