Originally released back in 1986 and as a built-in game for the SEGA Master System II, it appears that this classic is making it's way to the PS5 and other modern consoles.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World debuted on the Sega Master System on November 1, 1986. Merge Games revived Sega’s classic franchise earlier this year, which has sold nearly 200,000 units since June.
What do you mean? It was reasonably popular on the Sega Master System, I enjoyed the game even though I couldn't beat it as a kid, I'll probably buy it after a few price drops on Steam.
SMS 2 is a nice looking machine I would like to get my hands on one but the better SMS is the SMS 1 looks better and could read game cards and use the 3D glasses. Hell I'd like to get the Korean Samsung versions of the SMS, Genesis, Game Gear along with the Hyundai Korean made NES, SNES, and Gameboy. But they are rare and are expensive on Ebay. I loved Alex Kidd on the SMS even also loved Wonder Boy and Wonder Boy in Monsterland as well I might buy this new version of Alex Kidd.
