wii version looks best again

Maxned3701d ago

Your excuse to avoid the ps3's failures.

Some people won't be happy with this one. Let's just deny everything they said in the video and write it off as blatant lies. It's easier that way.

Darkseider3701d ago (Edited 3701d ago )

I am sitting here at work and don't have the ability to watch the vid damnit! You can at least tell me what I am supposed to be denying! Thanks.

EDIT: Proxy FTW! Anyway... slighlty more jaggy at 1080p and some questionable PSN moments other than that identical. I would dare say unless you were staring at stills the jaggie part wouldn't even come into play. I have played through the game and the action is moving so fast most of the times you don't sit still long enough to stare at anything.

InMyOpinion3701d ago

Yeah, I'm not being serious about it. It's not like you will notice any differences anyways unless you own both consoles and a copy of each version and play them simoltaneously lol!

Anyways, 5 minutes into a game and you have forgotten about the graphics. You might be reminded at times if it's an extra spectacular title, but in the end the gameplay takes up 90% of the experience.

Traveler3700d ago

I agree with you. I mean, for people like me who own both consoles then obviously you are going to want to get the best version you can get, but if you only own one console it's not like there is such a huge difference that it is going to have a huge impact on the experience. You wouldn't even really know what the differences were unless you had them both side by side to compare.

I do like these comparisons though, because it helps me to figure out which version of a multiplatform game I am going to buy.

It's official. IGN + Treyarch = owned by Microsoft.

Deadman643701d ago (Edited 3701d ago )

CONSPIRACY!!!!!

Well at least the PS3 version got ranked above WII....right?

ambientFLIER3701d ago

Lol. So did Microsoft pay IGN to give MGS4 a 10.0? Weren't you dorks just praising IGN as the only unbiased review website on the internet?

Tiberium3700d ago

actually IGN is biased toward the 360 now. They make fun of it in almost every way possible, that's hilary goldstein for you (ign 360 editor in chief).

BlackTar1873701d ago

Looks fine my bro has ps3 looks fine i dont notice the differnce at all but for the ones looking for something they might. I did not watch this video at all juts so you know im speaking about personal exp. Send mea invite ThizzWshingtn I play every now and then wasnt a huge fan of this one

ablecain3701d ago

Was it really necessary to mention that the graphics of the Wii version are not as good as the other versions? These comparisons are such a waste of time on the part of these writers.

jaidek3701d ago (Edited 3701d ago )

Generally comparisons do a huge service to potential buyers. Especially those who have multiple systems. But in this video it is completely unfair to compare the PC to the PS3/Xbox 360. The consoles are stuck with their hardware where as computers are ever changing. And to compare the Wii version as well, come on.

For strictly PlayStation 3 versus Xbox 360 comparison see this post on N4G:

TheIneffableBob3701d ago (Edited 3701d ago )

It's not unfair.

The PC has the capability of delivering a superior experience within a reasonable budget. Why should it be excluded?

jaidek3701d ago

Eh, that is debatable. What is considered reasonable? When you think about a decent, low-end gaming rig you are still hitting the $500+ mark. Also, in the life span of a console the PC will have gone through 3 to 4 graphic card generations. So why again is it fair to compare the PS3/Xbox 360, whose hardware is 3+ years old, to brand new gaming PC's? It's not.

TheIneffableBob3700d ago (Edited 3700d ago )

That's the advantage of PC gaming: it's constantly evolving.

Also, shop intelligently and you'll get yourself a good computer for cheap.

Here's a nice computer that'll be able to play at a graphical quality equal to the 360/PS3 and it's only $343.
