If you’ve been wondering about Star Citizen, starting today you can play the growing alpha of the space simulator for free for a few days.
It's not even a finished game , charging for a demo is stupid
it's free to play for now. and the demo content is more than the whole mass effect trilogy.
keep drinking that kool-aid
@Tiqila maybe some people just like it... try and imagine that scenario, and accept it. Otherwise you will constantly be at a loss to describe why it keeps getting more and more traction despite all the delays and funding model etc. World is not black and white.
@nyu1 I hope SC will eventually be a success. I don't have a problem with people liking it, but the comment above is massive hyperbole. I don't think SC has already more content than mass effect trilogy. Can you or Tech5 substantiate that claim?
Absolute lie and you know it
at least gamers are able to play this. gameplay is also pretty good i'd say.
They're not charging for a demo. Way to paint a false and negative picture here.
Game still in alpha lmfao
game is a whole lot more polished than Cyberpunk though. can confirm.
Yeah.... that's not true though... unless you're talking about Cyberpunk on base consoles or something. SC is very bad in playability in many areas. Granted it also depends on your specs, but many things can straight up break very often.
Release date confirmed. "It’s 2951, and there’s never been a better time to see what Star Citizen is all about." LOL 🤣🤣
More than an official release date, think the thing they need to start talking about, if its a legitimate game versus an out of control money suck for fanatical fans, is a reasonably priced monetary system for ongoing support.
i think it means conman citizen.
Like many have stated here is my opinion by someone who hasn't played it either, but too likes to bandwagon and get angry over it. A-are we cool yet guys?
Free, but the ships cost more than your rent.
Pretty sure for free fly events there are ingame ships to rent in game for free.
Looks like they need consumer data to sell for money now, you backers need to step it up.
No, thank u.
I backed this game in 2014 and it is the reason I built a gaming PC, so I have that to thank for it. I come back about once a year and it is always a disappointment. I'm not so upset about the money I donated to it, but more about how it isn't even close to what the vision for it was back then. It is a shallow and unoptimized, boring mess.
If this game comes to ps5 and series x it will be the biggest L for pc gamers in history
