The Nioh Collection Review – GameSpew

Richard Seagrave writes "Across both titles there’s literally hundreds of hours of adventuring to be done, and thanks to leveraging the power of the PS5 the action has never looked or played better. It’s those with TVs capable of high frame rates that will get the most out of it though; these games really display the benefit of 120fps."

Hey I bought nioh and nioh2 both with the season pass. I don’t get the free upgrade?

potatoseal135d ago

I bought both as well. We do get the free upgrade if we decide to play it again on PS5

Cool I see the nioh 2 upgrade but it’s not the compete edition and I don’t see the nioh 1 upgrade

potatoseal135d ago

Oh now i see that maybe Nioh 1 does not get the upgrade. That sucks.

you only got the free upgrade for Nioh 2 if you bought the Special Edition of Nioh 2 back when it was out. I upgraded earlier today, and immediately ordered a copy of the collection...also keep in mind you get a free upgrade for Nioh 2 but none of the DLC

Only part 2 unfortunately.

Weird how every article I've read about this game misinforms people that when they use the 120hz/fps mode they somehow sacrifice their graphical resolution. The only thing that changes is my LG CX is capped at 40gbps so the RGB 12bit changes to YCbCr4228bit to accommodate for the LG cap, but never switches out of 4k. The 120 mode looks flawless on my set, and I'm playing with the updated special edition to remaster patch released on launch
