Although often overlooked in Supergiant's gameography, 2017's Pyre is a fantastic game that might be the developer's most inspired work.
Yagmur Sevinc from NoobFeed writes - Isn’t it such a blessing that the studio that gave us such great games like Hades and Bastion has also given us incredible soundtrack albums too? If you like these games, you might want to look at the five best songs that the indie studio Supergiant Games has given us.
Pyre from Supergiant Games offers an outstanding amount of meaningful player choice that affects both gameplay and the narrative in a loop.
From RPS: "Travelling in games is special. The Lord Of The Rings might describe Frodo popping over to Mordor to chuck a ring in a volcano, and 1917 might show you every inch of ground covered by those soldiers, but short of physically going on a yomp in the real world, nothing conveys a sense of a distance travelled quite like huffing your way across the open world of a game in real time."
Play both if you can. I know its 'cool' (required these days to get the hits) to be sensational and I dont blame them at all, because well, here I am, worked. But both are worth your time.
Just my opinion but I despised Pyre with a passion! Liked Bastion and Absolutely Loved Transistor!!! But Pyre, I couldn't delete that game fast enough from my hard drive! I would really like to try Hades though, if it ever comes to playstation.
Pyre made me stop following them till Hades sooo I'll pass.
Really? I think it's their weakest title, love all the other though
it's their most forgettable title
