Buy Your Own Sackboy

Kotaku Write: On the off chance you're not already sick of LittleBigPlanet's over-exposed Sackboys, boy, are you in for a merchandise-related treat.

Officially-licensed replica Sackboys are now available for purchase from online retailer Play-Asia. They're small (at either 4" or 10"), they're ugly (what, no adorable slack-jawed grin?), they're guaranteed to not sing offending verses of the Quran and they go for either $9.90 (4") or $15.90 (10") each.

Watch them sell out like *that*.

The story is too old to be commented.

of putting a negative spin on every ps3 article?

why would we get bored of a mascot for the new generation, this game just keeps on getting better

libiudus i salute your gradius level

I see no negative spin? Surely if Kotaku were so anti-PS3 they wouldn't post a story telling you that official merchandize is now available that corresponds with a PS3 title? Their story can do nothing but inform more people of the product and there for potentially create more sales/money for Sony.

But unkind comments such as "On the off chance you're not already sick of LittleBigPlanet's over-exposed Sackboys" would be what I believe he is referring to.

Basically he's getting at them for their continued sly digs at anything PS3 related.

Whether or not they are anti-ps3 they'll always report the news because that is their purpose and increases their hit count but it's the way in which they do it at times that gets some people. Personally I couldn't care less what they write as I rarely visit Kotaku.

Fishy ... I think the Foxxy one was pointing out the following

Officially-licensed replica Sackboys are now available for purchase from online retailer Play-Asia. They’re small (at either 4” or 10"), they’re ugly (what, no adorable slack-jawed grin?), they're guaranteed to not sing offending verses of the Quran and they go for either $9.90 (4") or $15.90 (10") each.

Two knocks on LBP while trying to 'promote' it.

Fishy Fingers3698d ago

I guess, but people seem so sensitive these days, Kotaku will always drop a few controversial lines if it's easy, like many many other sites. I don't think this article is in anyway a deliberate attack on either the PS3 or LBP.

Jamie Foxx3698d ago (Edited 3698d ago )

just because their posting ps3 news doesnt mean a thing, theres a difference between posting ps3 news to INFORM and just posting news to take a pop at a console you do not like

sunnygrg3698d ago

Even though Kotaku tries to be generous by saying "Off chance", you can see their fanboyism shining like a star.

InMyOpinion3698d ago (Edited 3698d ago )

You guys whine about everything. If it isn't Kotaku it's 1up, IGN, Edge, Gamespot or GameTrailers. If you don't like them don't read their stories.

I'd buy each and every one of you a sackboy doll if it'd make you stop sobbing.

Bubble to fishy for understanding sarcasm.

socomnick3698d ago

Jesus christ you sony fanboys are pathetic, who gives a F*** if they make fun of the sackboys. Seriously its not important, no wonder you guys love final fantasy 7 its full of whining emo characters that you guys try to imitate.

MikeD1593697d ago

so your saying if someone attacked your Master Chief doll that we all know you bought you wouldn't be upset and just to let you no I don't play FF i play mostly FPS

They are massively anti PS3, I wonder why?

InMyOpinion3698d ago

Because they are aliens and planned 9/11?

Captain Tuttle3698d ago

Those look terrible. They're cheap Chinese knock-offs.

Tony240ZT3692d ago

Agreed, they don't resemble the likeness of sack boys and girls.
