Control on PS5: 12 Minutes of Performance Mode and Graphics Mode Gameplay

Looks and plays amazing just downloaded it a few hrs ago!

Its looks soooo much better than the ps4 version, admittedly i was playing it on a base ps4 though.

Playing this again got me thinking of studio aquisitions, now tell me sony buying remedy wouldnt be a match made in heaven

Would not be surprised if they sign up for a third party exclusive with Sony or ms next. Get some bigger budget for an exclusive while remaining independent and trying to retain the ip. They have the clout now.

Remedy should remain independent so more people can enjoy their games. Control is a great game right after Alan wake which hopefully we see a sequel to this generation. If you haven’t played Alan wake you might want to before playing control (story wise).

If Sony bought them they’d have more resources and access to Sony’s first party tools so they could create even better games.

@jin the same could be said for Xbox with a massive budget, but to me it’s more fun watching and talking with all my friends about Control sharing in the excitement. That said I’d be fine if they chose a different publisher for third party than 505 games since they helped botch the next gen version of control

I'm interested if you have the same stance as this with Microsofts pending purchase of Zenimax/Bethesda? I'm not bashing you but whenever there's something pro Sony, you're usually their putting your MS spin on it so I'm curious.

I think remedy under sony is almost guaranteed success, not so much with xbox.

Off the top of my head i can think of sunset over drive by insomniac games which flopped and quantum break by remedy and MS which flopped, then u got the whole scale bound thing.

Alan wake wasnt bad though but it was no max payne or control.

Not sure what it is, but things dont exactly come off for ms usually when they get 3rd party exclusives quite the same way sonys ones do.

And i mention remedy for sony due to them having a strong history in single player, 3rd person strong story type games which sony excels at supporting and fostering.

Look at 1:51 onwards. The game looks so different with and without raytracing - it REALLY amplifies the game's style and atmosphere. By default, I'd usually go with 60fps but this is a touch choice.

If it adds as much as it did in Miles Morales than I'm going for graphic mode and 30fps.

It's a shame some of the bigger sites barely mention the DualSense features and the difference it makes. Others have said it's excellent, along with the 3D audio implementation. Those elements, to me, are every bit as important to the overhaul this game has seen.
