VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "Considering today's current struggle with a pandemic, I've got to credit Chibig for crafting a game with such a wholesome attitude pulsing through its veins. Although I do think you can put a Tubman ($20) towards better titles, I don't blame anyone grabbing feel-good nourishment like this either. Nevertheless, my problems stem back to the game proper. There comes a time when repeating fetch quests feel like aeonian punishment – as though the boulder continuously rolls back down the mountain. Between this, the technical annoyances, and shambolic story, Summer in Mara slowly morphed into a winter of discontent."
New week, new deals! James Bell is here to share ten sweet Nintendo Switch deals available right now on the US and UK eShops.
The Humble Down to Earth Bundle just launched today. It features games like Beyond Blue, Summer in Mara, Lost Ember, Abzu, and more. A percentage goes to support charity.
James writes: "The tutorial-focused hands of Summer in Mara on Xbox are where things stumble, offering a game that is unwilling to let you go outside of the strict parameters set before you."
