Tomb Raider Developers Aim to Unify the Timeline; No Major Game Announcements in The Near Future

Today Square Enix released a new video kicking off the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of the Tomb Raider franchise.

The story is too old to be commented.

How can they unify it

They are two completely different Lara Crofts, it’s like they don’t have faith in their new Lara and want to try and bring in classic Lara but it won’t work unless they change canon. Makes no sense to me.

One got into a plane crash and survived two weeks in the Himalayas before getting help, the other got shipwrecked onto an island.

The original Lara had a better backstory

Agreed they need to go back to the old Lara.

I think the only way they could do it, is to say that some elements of the storyline isn't cannon anymore. Aka Starwars

Yeah absolutely the only way I see it happening after three movies and a new one on the way countless games one of which made Lara a criminals running around a city which was weird but at the time was graphically really impressive the Canon is a mess if you take all of it.

Throwing in a new Netflix series you really have to remake all of the games with major changes
