I seriously doubt modified save data has ruined anyone's online experience. The online experience in Sword and Shield wasn't all that great to begin with, and still isn't. If anything modified raids were a reason to even bother playing online, and surprise trades

Yeah my thing is, the whole game is contaminated. They waited over a year to respond to this and the games flooded. Almost everyones files have had pokemon from modifications on their stuff from surprise trades etc. It's really odd they wait till all the dlc is released before they address this. At this point they might as well accept that it is what it is

Game is also very meh. So that too lol. Them releasing the game how it was ruined things alot more than that stuff could since like you said it's really just raids ppl do online.
