Those stock shortages are a real bummer

Switch is 41% up YoY. That's pretty interesting. I don't expect that to continue throughout the year, but if it's up even half of that we are looking at crazy numbers.

Though tbh, I expect it will be down YoY later on.

depends on the titles that release this year I guess. If we can get Metroid, Bayo 3, BOTW 2, and maybe a few other surprises, demand for this device should still remain pretty strong.

@neon

I'm not saying demand won't be strong. I'm just saying that last year was huge for Switch sales wise and Im expecting that was it's sales peak.

@semptember for sure, with like 80 million sold you have to figure that they are getting to the point where the majority of who want one have one. There might be some people that will pick up new models (say a Pro) or grab one as a secondary console, but sales will definitely start to slow a little seeing as we are over midway through it's life cycle.

Folks are loving that Switch something I just can't get into. Good for Nintendo far as sales. Sony needs to get these PS5 consoles out in the wild knowing they are still in high demand.

As a PS5 and Switch owner, my Switch has been ignored for months 🤷‍♂️ mostly indies and old re-releases for $60.

I hear you. I haven't bought a Nintendo console since the SNES. I own the SNES Mini fully loaded with classic games whenever I feel the need to revisit those types of games. I haven't bought the Switch or other Nintendo consoles before it due to my lack of interest in most of their first-party line up of family friendly games which I outgrew. If I bought a Switch I know it would just collect dust. Loving my PS5 which I play almost everyday.

as a PS5 and Switch owner, I play both equally. 🤷‍♂️

The switch momentum. I hope this doesn’t defer Nintendo from releasing the much needed Switch Pro (4K).

all that disappointment from over priced exclusives (now old) and a bazillion junky mobile games.
