Fucking shit bag, do the world a favor go out get Covid and die.
Too bad my stock exchange doesn’t have otc stocks. I will be looking to add buy this stock.
They have like 4 lawsuits over them lying about the state of the game to their investors. This stock is not going up in any meaningful way soon. It's probably gonna drop if they are found guilty and i wouldn't be surprised if they fire the CEO or some of the executives. After that if they make Cyberpunk everything it should of been and the sales go back then it will rise but that will probably be a year and half out.
Wow went from a dumpster fire to a full on forest fire
More like a whole building fire after the dumpster lol!
Depends where the dumpster is located next to a building next to a forest in a park either way this will be a nuke if it gets any bigger.
Now this is a cash grab.
These are investors that put THEIR money in CD's hands with the promise that the game would be working. Any industry besides gaming a product this shoddy would be recalled. We need to start demanding more than the bare minimum from these game companies.
Don't see ea's investors suing them or ubisofts suing them when they mess up occasionally on a similar scale.....
Man this is bad news and it seems like this is going to get ugly. The Investors are striking back hard.
And they're the ones that pushed for the release to happen this year. It's their fault the launch was so messy.
Do you have a link to this info of investors pushing for the game to be released this year?
CD Projekt came out and said that they felt no pressure, investor or customer side. They did this on their own accord
@ahall yeah because CDPR probably told them that the game runs "surprisingly well on last gen consoles", so why wouldnt they push to release it then? ;)
This type of talk is what would ruin gaming. STOP DEFENDING THEM.
The vaulters are arriving...
[Insert joke about Poles..]
Ambulance chasers smelled blood in the water on this one, everyone who enters the class action (if they win) will get a check for $3.95 while the lawyers take home millions.
Read tbe article. Its a suit for INVESTORS. It has nothing to do with people that bought the game. If investors win they will get a heft amount, as there are far fewer investors than people that bought this game. You cam bet they will get far, far more than $3.95 if this is found in their favor.
Than the suit is even dumber than I thought the game sold like crazy the investors already got their money.
But there have been tons of refunds, horrible reception both from critics and fans, and the game was taken down off of Playstation Network. All 3 of those things mean investors aren't getting as much as they should.
Investors do have a case. They were misled into believing this game was in a different state than it was.
Not sure why all the people complaining about "Whiners!" can't comprehend that this lawsuit is a result of investors being misled. CDPR said that the game was content complete early this year which just wasn't true
Because it's N4G. The reason they post these things here, it's literally because everyone reads a title and then goes straight into comments. Just read CDPR twitter replies. You got people saying its consumers fault for not reading the minimum requirements for consoles (lol) and spreading stories about Sony promising to fix the Cyberpunk crashes. You can't make this shit up.
How does it feel, CD Project RED fanboys, to be a part of the loser's club? It must be so incredibly sad.
Kind of shocking that this is about CDPR. They are considered to be one of the best studios and they should have put more effort in optimizing the last gen versions.
Honestly, they never should have made a console version until they were done with the PC version. By then, the next gen consoles would have been announced and then they should have decided to release on next gen only. The first screenshots and video made it perfectly clear that last gen consoles would not be up to the task.
Or maybe they should not have LIED and said it runs “surprisingly well” on last gen consoles. https://www.gamesradar.com/...
Some people will not be happy till CPDR is busted and shut down.
Who? Who the hell will be happy to see CDPR shut down? Dude, they released a game that was in poor shape, and tried to mislead people. And, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but more lawsuits are incoming. They pretty much put themselves in this position, but I doubt people are taking any pleasure in seeing the trouble that the company is having. Stop that shit.
People's expectations were just too high but CDPR does have no one to blame but themselves because they hyped it up so much. It's the same with No Man's Sky, just too many missed promises. However, like NMS and Hello Games, they have a road to redemption. If they stick it out and fix it, then good on them although they will take a hit in reputation. But it's better than pulling an EA and completely abandoning the game (Mass Effect:Andromeda & Anthem). That would just completely destroy consumer confidence.
I want CDPR to iron out the bugs, release some great expansions and the multipalyer mode. I also want CDPR to take the lessons of this release and apply them to the development/release of Witcher 4. Asshole lawyers trying to bleed the company dry will certainly not help with that.
Considering they were just bragging about the success of the game sales wise and to add that the Witcher 3 also came out in pretty poor condition (though nowhere near as bad as Cyberpunk), they definitely are not learning any lessons except that they can lie to customers as long as they throw millions at a celebrity to market the game for them. All in all I do hope they learn their lesson going forward but money talks and gamers despite their audible disgust do not vote with their wallets.
If witcher 4 ever gets made. This kind of thing could easily out ab end to a company...
I'm sorry, but I can't support greedy lawyers. I'm sure they spent the last week, not concerned about gamers but to see how much money they can milk out of this.
"I'm sure they spent the last week, not concerned about gamers", I'm sure of this too, because they're operating on behalf of investors, not gamers. You can't lie for investment and not expect a lawsuit when the truth comes out.
I don't think that will hold ground. It's a nice 'press' for this Rosen Law Firm, though.
Seems like someone really wants your company CDPR at a low price...all this trouble.
Doesn’t matter how many good things u do apparently as soon as u screw up once everyone’s put to ruin u. Man gamers are a bunch of miserable entitled punks
Another person who didn't read the article I see.
I’m talking about all the comments
Good. They released a game knowing it wasn’t ready or playable (no stable frame rate, crashes, etc.) on a game that CD Project Red had 8 years to work on. There’s no excuse for it. They deserve what’s coming to them. Only got themselves to blame.
