Phil writes, "Like pineapple on pizza (I know, what a timely example that folks aren't completely over debating by now), there are certain combinations of items and things that shouldn't go together and work. Just like cuisine, there are certain combinations of genres that seem like they shouldn't work at first. A Pokemon capturing and battling game with a Metroidvania interconnected world and platforming doesn't come across as something that should work. However, like the combo of cereal and milk, peanut butter and chocolate, or perhaps pineapple and pizza, Moi Rai Games' Monster Sanctuary actually does work--for the most part."
"The Wakefield-based (the UK) indie games publisher and developer Team 17 and Hamburg-based (Germany) indie games developer moi rai games, today announced with great thrill and joy that they have just released the "Relics of Chaos" update for "Monster Sanctuary" to PC (via Steam) and consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch)." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Neil writes: "We were pretty impressed by Monster Sanctuary when it released back in December of 2020, only really letdown by a slightly hollow feel. The new and free Forgotten World DLC should well fix that."
