Naughty Dog's The Last of Us: Part II is a profound and bold sequel that makes for an unforgettable swan song for the PS4.
The Best of the Best
True. You gotta love that the channels that went after this game for political reasons (not talking about people who just didn't like it) we're angrily defending Cyberpunk against every valid bit of criticism. Now Cyberpunk has been pulled from the PS Store. They riled up their fans so much that they sent fake messages of support to the journalist who warned that she got an epileptic seizure while playing Cyberpunk ... to induce another one out of spite (they succeeded). That's how easily offended they are and how far they'll go. It's a very weird corner of the internet.
Probably the same ppl that were involved with the gamergate crap, “ it’s about ethics in game journalism” sure
Hated the way the story went, but can't argue with it that, it was a massive e accomplishment
My personal GOTY (haven't played Ghost of Tsushima yet though).
Here is your winner, Gamespot.
They already gave it to Half Life
I was meaning to suggest they got it wrong lol
With the failure of Cyberpunk, this is easily GOTY for me.
NOTE: I'm mostly talking about the console port (it was pulled off the PS Store which is objectively a sign of failure). I know that it's a good game underneath the bugs and the performance issues. But even so, it's still too glitchy on PC as well and there are aspects of the game like the AI (across the board, even the traffic routing) that aren't very good and which will probably be updated in the future. If you wait until next year, you'll get a far better experience on every platform (although not to the same degree) which is not the way games should release.
Most polished game I have ever played and the amount of love that went into it is so obvious. I admire Naughty Dog’s bold direction with this one. That’s why I prefer this game over any Uncharted game or any other game Naughty Dog has released. The “good guy” always wins in those games and the people you love in the game always make it out alive. In this instance there is no good guy and you will witness the loss of very likable characters. And not just one, but no spoilers if you haven’t played it yet.
Like, seriously this is really the best of 2020? I’d gladly give that FF7 Remake. Some of the most fun I’ve had with gaming in a long time.
This article is just saying that it's one of the best games of 2020. They have an article of the same format for the FF7 Remake: https://www.gamespot.com/ar...
True game of the year imho is HalfLife Alyx. While TLOU2 is cool and all, I'd argue there is nothing special about it. It's just more of the same, a typical high quality naughty dog game. Hl Alyx though changes the game. It's an innovative masterpiece.
Re7 vr was better
My current guilty pleasure game... running encounters with a shotgun and loving the gore and npc response.
mkis007: "npc response" CDPR: "what the...somebody write that down!"
Careful, all the bandwagoner haters who never played the game are going to take over
Ghost for me.
