Will the Ampere family be filled out properly?
Nvidia does this every time. They wait until AMD shows their hand and they pull out a trump card. Betcha 3080 ti will come in at $999 right next to the 6900 XT.
I was also thinking that it will be that price point, be interesting to see if it's worth the premium over the vanilla 3080.
I will be sitting by the nvida website trying to get one 3080ti preorder.
Yearly releases in the tech field are not new, or going anywhere.
Ti versions usually come at cards launch or soon after, no shock/surprise here.
Yeah it's pretty quick. I purchased a 1080Ti which was released almost a year after the 1080 GTX 1080 was released on May 27, 2016 GTX 1080Ti was released on March 10, 2017
Yeah good luck getting one. It's unbelievable how difficult it is to get a 3000 series card without paying some ridiculous price. I would love to pair a 3000 series card with the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X cpu but I can't find either one at the normal price.
Same here. It has been a ridiculously frustrating experience trying to buy any gaming tech this year.
I am glad the rtx 3000 series was sold out immediately, now we wait and see what more bullshit nvidia has in store.
Hopefully EVGA does a queue-based order system like Sony did.
Evga had a que system from the start it took a month for my que to hit then i didnt have the money they give you like 9 hours to buy it.
Thats why I said like Sony.
What is advantage of Sony's queue over EVGA?
You go to the website after receiving an invite, at a certain time, login with your account and wait until a personal shopping session is created. You can take your time, buy accessories and as long your payment goes through you're good to go. EVGA sends you an email and you have 8 hours to purchase. Its a great system but what happens if for some reason you miss the email, it goes to spam or comes at a time when you might be asleep. That's my only problem with it.
Seriously? Bunch of pimps... I don't care how many times they've done this in the past, they should have had at least 16gb VRAM on the 3070 and 3080 from the very beginning -_-
