The bioware of ME1 &2 is long gone. Can they bounce back? Anything is possible but I won't keep my hopes up.

IMissJimRyan1236d ago

Of course. They just need to make good games, as any studio.

Seraphim1236d ago

which won't be possible under EA

EmperorDalek1236d ago

They did well enough with their two most recent Star Wars games.

IMissJimRyan1236d ago

Their best games Dragon Age origins and Mass Effect 2 were under EA.

It's possibile.

Knightofelemia1236d ago

If they can get away from the clutches of EA and bring back the original team who was at Bioware day one then yes they could bounce back. As of right now no EA is just going to drill them and keep drilling them into the ground face first. Most of the original staff who actually gave a shit have left all Bioware now is held together with bubble gum and chicken wire. The fact I am surprised EA has not turned off the lights at Bioware surprises me after the performance Andromeda and Anthem made. I mean it's not their fault I solely blame EA but if this track record keeps popping up with Bioware games I wouldn't be surprised if EA shut the lights off at Bioware and they will join Visceral.

eXclurel1236d ago

They can. They just have to learn to say no to the executives that think they know more about games than the people that actually make the games.

Go woke, go broke.

This guy worked there as a manager and faced no repercussions

aaronaton1236d ago

So I'm the beta male for calling out anti white wokeness? So, are you the alpha male here then, here to take my woman?

IMissJimRyan1236d ago (Edited 1236d ago )

Nobody needs to take your women. You push them away by yourself.

But I understand your problems. It must be really scary to be so useless and see even games leaving my illusion of the world behind.

Don't worry. White genocide won't stop.

The only PlayStation dev I care about tbh.

Cacabunga19h ago

Hopefully doesn’t take them a complete gen to release it

TheColbertinator13h ago

Good. Something not boring, not one of those "make your own game" crap and also on Steam would be nice.

I too like to look for things in the wrong places.

"the capital group of PCF Group S.A."

If you're getting funding from a group that needs two different ways of Acronyming itself, things will not go the way you want them to.

If it was more online-only crap then good riddance.

jjb19811d 3h ago

Outriders was crap. They slapped that game together and threw in a loot system to get players' attention. This game was absolutely jank and the always online nonsense made it stutter like crazy. People Can't Optimize.

thorstein1d 1h ago

I liked Outriders but I could see where the artistic vision was compromised. The way the industry is now, it wouldn't surprise me that upper management would scrap something that didn't pull in money via gaas, mts, or other means.
