Interesting but given the game is hugely popular and loved for its story and the multiplayer is just a money pit for rockstar I hope you can purchase the story independent of the mp because I'd love to get the game again on PC without online play.

No thanks, the single player story mode is the only part I am interested in.

You can also buy the single-player portion through this standalone game. I wonder how much it costs. It could effectively mean a permanent price drop for the game.
