Scarlet Nexus – The First Superhero JRPG?

I'm pretty Sure Gravity Rush and Gravity Rush 2 are Action JRPGs featuring characters that don't feature "Magic" to be the Heroes. Also sure there are games before it. Also the issue with that logic is that you can essentially work any power into being a form of magic. So it's a weird conversation to have because they don't simply say it's magic. But that being said. I'm looking forward to this game.

Aren't the Gravity Rush games more action adventures though? They have RPG elements, but idk if I'd actually classify them as RPGs.

The official Genre is Action RPG which would fit the JRPG name since it's made by Sony Japan Studios. Also what would classify this Scarlet Nexus game, Mind you a much more action-y game to be a JRPG that wouldn't lend to Gravity Rush?

Sony themselves list the genre as action, adventure on their own psn store so no they aren't rpgs.

Both are great games though and don't get the credit they deserve.

Gravity Rush doesn't fit the genre of RPG whatsoever, even the bastardized usage of the term. There's some skills that you level up and some costumes but that doesn't not make it a 'role playing game'

I just want bloody release dates on Tales of Arise and Scarlet Nexus I am jumping at the bit to play both of them.
