Cheaters?! IN CALL OF DUTY!?!?!? NO!!!!

/s

Kerppamaister1639d ago

Your comment was sarcastic. But then you put /s in the end. That's a double sarcast. Which means...THERE ARE CHEATERS IN COD? Unbelievable.

TheOtherMoon1639d ago (Edited 1639d ago )

No...the COD community rampant with cheater... no society of mine...

Pa-lease, the author should have just written an article titled "Fish live in Water."

Aussieguy1639d ago

I was tempted to buy this as I currently don't have any ps5 games with my ps5 (just playing all the free ps4 games and waiting for Cyberpunk) but so glad I didn't. Paying more then the average game for this then having to put up with cheaters, I would rather give the money to a homeless person then waste it on this.

Games1st1639d ago

Homeless or fake homeless that spends it all on drugs. Guess anything is better than activision.

nickanasty2061639d ago

LOL! To be fair console players can cheat in certain ways as well which is less detectable with modded controllers with Rapid Fire, still relieved i gave up on any COD game years ago. Activition will only get my money if they make another Crash or Tony Hawk game.

Atomicjuicer1639d ago

New Tony hawk and crash JUST came out..?

nickanasty2061638d ago

I am just saying, new iterations of those games, i will happily pay Activision for because those franchises did very well with their last releases, and did a great job making the games feel modern/new. COD has been the same game now forever. They are basically all just re-skinned and either reduce TTK or increase it each year. COD has basically turned into Fifa. Very little innovation in each game from year to year, COD is no different, just a yearly franchise that doesn't get any fresh new ideas.

Sirk7x1639d ago

Tony Hawk 1+2 Remake is awesome.

Shiore2u1639d ago

Good. The more people are turned away from this annual regurgitation the better.
Maybe then Raven Software and Treyarch can be free from eternal creative depravation in the COD mines.

fsfsxii1639d ago

They should stop because you dont like it?

Games1st1639d ago (Edited 1639d ago )

They should stop, because doing the same shit a decade fucks up creativity and burns people out.

Black ops 4, because it was the last cod of duty I was able to dominate with a +2 k/d ratio. Before all the freaking cheating started to happen. It was nice catching people off guard and shooting at them first and getting the kill. Unlike now, where I shoot people first, but they gun me down with less hits, less time, literally feels like they can kill me in a split second. At times, they are able to run away after me shooting them way more than necessary, yet, the second I'm spotted, I'm dead, there's no me running away to cover. They can do cartwheels, summersaults, backflips and gun you down perfectly. They can shoot you across the map with perfect accuracy. They can jump around like morons and gun you down without even having to correct their aim. They have superman split second perfect reactions. That's the best way to describe it, everything they do is spot on perfect. They can spam and spray (no praying) their gun from far away, because they have no recoil or bullet spread. It always feels like I have to aim and also correct my aim when moving around, while these pricks don't have to do the same.

And yes, I know how to play fps games. I dominated many fps games like: Resistance 1&2, kz 2&3, Socom, MAG, Crysis, Gotham City Impostors, blitz brigade etc. all with 2-4 k/d ratio. Kz2 (lag input controls) and resistance (no aim assist in resistance) being the hardest and were the games I reached either close to a 3 k/d ratio or above.

I truly got to enjoy blacks ops 4 and got my money's worth out of it. Afterwords, I would either stop playing cod games after a while, because of the cheating, or would skip buying cod games for a year or two before buying another.

Another great month imo. The COD campaign on this one was great fun. I've never played Alan Wake, so a PS5 version of that is a perfect way to prepare for the next one...

taurul687d ago

You're in for a treat with Alan Wake. It still holds after so many years.
For me it's the best psychological thriller I've ever played that is not Silent Hill.
Alan Wake 2 is my most wished sequel of all time, waiting for it since 2010...

bloop687d ago (Edited 687d ago )

Sweet!! I never got around to playing it on the 360 but always wanted to. Looking forward to next month!!

Crows90687d ago

Agreed. You see I'm surprised that Microsoft hasn't bought remedy...of all the studios in their list....I'd assume remedy would be an obvious based on real actual relationships.

I liked Alan Wake and am super excited for Alan Wake 2. Hopefully turns out great ..I've actually liked ALL of their games including quantum break...except for the TV show part.

Christopher687d ago

I've never bought a CoD game, but now due to PS+, I 'rent' like 8 of them or so. I played one a few times with my nephews. Still not my cup of tea. But, it's interesting to see how many CoD games PS+ can throw at me.

LG_Fox_Brazil687d ago

Pretty damn good, I almost bought Alan Wake last month, glad I held my wallet

REDGUM687d ago

I picked up my copy of it 2nd hand just last Saturday. agghhh. If only I had waited just a little more longer.

Knushwood Butt687d ago

Me too, it's been on my wishlist for months. Glad I held out!

Elda687d ago

A pass for me due to playing Cold War & Alan Wake already.

phoenixwing687d ago

Glad I didn't buy cold war or Alan wake. Now I can enjoy them for the stories

Kassanova07687d ago
