Ubisoft has spilled the beans on Assassin's Creed Shadows' post-launch support, providing a roadmap for upcoming content.
There's actually quite a lot to get through. First off, there are some pretty big updates in the works, which aim to bring more story-related stuff and fan-requested features to the release.
I'll be picking it up as soon as the complete edition goes on a deep sale. I would buy their stuff day one if they didn't cut up their games into tiers.
HELL YEAH!!!!
Plenty of amazing and HIGHLY requests features on our way!
I can´t wait for Naoe´s new parkour skills, Bo Staff and Ultimate Hardcore difficulty on New Game +!!!
After spending time with storing games to an external here's my recommendation to everyone.
If you have only a handful of games you want to bring over from last-gen get an external 1TB SSD ($100 - $150). Games will load and transfer much faster, usually 10 - 20 seconds of loading, and 2 - 5 minute file transfer (2 minutes for 50GB games, around 5 minutes for 100GB games).
If you want to bring over a library and want all the PS+ Collection games, get an external 4TB - 5TB HDD minimum ($100 - $150 hybrid usually, Black Friday sales $60 - $80). Games will load and transfer slower, but the amount of storage is significantly more important if you have a lot of games you want to bring over, you can also get 10TB - 16TB drives for around $120 - $200 this Black Friday. loading usually takes around 30 seconds - 1 minute depending on the game, and file transfers can take 5 - 10 minutes depending on the game size (5 minutes for 50GB games, 10 minutes for 100GB games).
If money isn't a concern then getting an external 2TB SSD or larger is the best option. You'll be spending around $100 per GB so $200 and up, but it gives you the fastest speed, and enough storage to store a decent-sized library of games, it loads practically identical to the ridiculously priced external Xbox Seagate 1TB drive (which cost over $200, for half the storage).
For the SSD buy the drive on its own, and then buy an enclosure for around $15 - $20 that supports USB 3.1, for a much better price than buying a prebuilt external. HDD externals are often cheaper for larger storage like 10GB, but you might be able to save a few dollars if you buy the drive and external on your own (used drives from reliable dealers could save you around $20).
