Of course, the 3080 has the edge, but not by far. To the point you can't barely Tell since there's some parts that looks better on the SX.

We heard lots of bs FUD like:

Series X has a memory bottleneck
Series X is slow
Series X Overheating
Series X 12 TF means nothing
Series X will deliver Xbox 360 graphics
Full RDN2 support means nothing
Series X can't run a crossgen game at 60fps (Valhalla)

I could go on, but you got the picture.

And here we are:

Series X holding its ground against a $700 29TF GPU witch has 33% faster Ray Tracing performance in comparisson with the AMD's RX 6000.

So yes, it's something for future Xbox Series X owners and fans to celebrate and be excited/hyped with while an Epic achievement for the Team Xbox.

Bear in mind thaf XSX is 1440p dynamic and 30 fps and lower assets quality, compared to 4k and higher quality assets on 3080

No ones called series X slow, it has a very slow SSD for the NVMe Medium and that's a fact lol. 2.5 is under the average 2.9+ to 3.5for gen 3. That's what was spoken about

TF you talking a memory bottleneck lol, no ones been worried about that, having 2 different ram speeds can caus issues in the future, Series S is what ppl are saying will become bottlenecked with a lower ram count lol.
12TF doesn't really mean that much as a 3080 is like 30 or something and different GPUs measure that differently. If a console is fast enough to cull while you don't see something and bring it back before you can see, it saves so much resources it can outperform something with higher flops off speed alone. Things like that are the reason it doesn't matter

That it can't run 4k Despite PS4 Pro having games like Wipeout Omega at 4k60 lol. PS5 can't handle ray tracing at 4k despite Ratchet being one of the first games shown and it had ray tracing. The Demon souls has actually being corrected to actually have ray tracing and they meant no traced reflections but lighting and shadows are. Point is, MS ain't no victim of hate, I can assure you there's been a waaaaayyyyyy bigger agenda against sony. Ppl to this day think it doesn't have full ps4 BC and as far as I'm aware that 4K games is more than the XboxOne +600 games before it that are compatible lol. i maybe wrong

But the $700 gpu is running at Ultra settings. The Xbox is probably at medium or high.

Plus the $700 gpu gets more FPS and better ray tracing.

After reading several of the comments unsure why gamers can't rejoice over this, and instead have it devolve into a fanboy war because X console is running the game in the video. This is the closest that consoles have ever been in comparison to their PC counterparts. The Xbox Series X and the Playstation 5 both have such similar hardware, that we can assume the PS5 will do similarly well. I say this is a win for all gamers out there buying a console for only 500 bucks. Very cool! Excited for both of my new consoles and the fact that when I am not playing on my PC, i will get performance and visuals that aren't completely different from what I experience when I'm playing games on PC and do this all from the comfort of my couch on a 75 inch TV with my 5.1 surround sound system i paid too much money for. This is great stuff!

So XSX implements PC's medium RT settings for Native 4K@30. As long as it maintains a consistent 30, its well and good. Or else lowering the RT might be beneficial. Nobody wants to play with inconsistent frame pacing with mirrors everywhere.
There's 60fps mode right? Is it dynamic 4K?

No 60fps mode in Watch Dogs Legion like in Valhalla, only 4K/30fps (it appears it's dynamic, not native).

i'm not afraid to admit my pc is about on par or worse than a xbox series x. I have a 2070 super rtx. however for my money i have an all in one device and can easily do much more than game on my pc. Also if I ever wanted to I can game at 1080p instead of 2k and have everything boosted settings wise just not resolution. I have customization options that consoles just don't have.

Like the article says the Xbox Series X isn't on par with the RTX 3080 but it's still pretty impressive.
That said I am still buying the RTX 3080 since all the Xbox games will be on PC anyway and to me the PC is the better value since it's used for a ton of things beyond gaming.
